Remove the screws on both sides of the lock.
Unscrew the deadbolt mounting screws from the inside of the deadbolt with a phillips screwdriver.
If your doorknob has recessed screws you may need an allen wrench to remove them.
Place the parts removed from the door and the door jamb onto a cloth rag.
