Tap the pin back in the hole with a hammer and mount the door in its brackets.

Take down the door and pry the pivot out of the door edge with a flat head screwdriver or pliers.
There should be an even and uniform separation all the way along the top and bottom.
Tighten the set screw.
Stand back five feet or so and examine the gaps on the top and bottom.
Loosen the set screw of the top pivot bracket then move the top of the door toward or away from the door jamb as necessary to make the gap even.
Slam a bifold door too many times and you can split the wood where the top and bottom anchor and pivot pins sit.
Repairing bifold doors begin by inserting the bottom pivot into the bracket which can be screwed to the floor to the door jamb or both.
