Over the years i ve tried several different ways of hanging my wreaths and after a lot of trial and error i finally stumbled upon the best way to hang a wreath without damaging the door or weatherstripping.
How to hang a wreath on a leaded glass door.
Measure your ribbon from this point to the spot on the front of the door where you d like your wreath to hang.
If you don t want any hanging accessory on the exterior of your door place a hook upside down on the interior of your door.
Hold the nail at a sight angle so that you are hammering the nail down into the door.

Loop the ribbon through the wreath and tie it.
Once you have checked the placement hammer the nail into the door.
Stand with the glass door open so you can reach the outside and inside at the same time.
The only problem with this is finding a good way to hang the wreath that won t damage the door or weatherstripping.
Use a clear hook.
If the center of the wreath hits at about eye level you re good.
Ways to hang a wreath use a door hanger over the door wreath hangers are typically metal plastic or acrylic and are somewhat s shaped or a stretched out sideways 5 lol.
Attach the two parts of the wreath holder on either side of the glass in the spot where you want the wreath.
Measure where you want your wreath to hang.
Use a tape measure to find the center of the door widthwise and the desired height for your hanger or just hold the wreath up until it looks just right.
Then loop the tied end of your ribbon under your upside down hook.
They are made to rest on top of the door and then have a sloped piece in the front to rest the wreath on in.
Using clear rope twine or string make a loop on one end.
How to hang a wreath on a glass door.
Strike the end of the nail with the hammer until the nail is able to stand itself and continue striking until the nail is firmly in the door then hang the wreath.
Stick a piece of tape on the inside of the glass right where you want to place the suction cup on the outside of the glass.
Clean that portion of the glass with rubbing alcohol.
Drop the wreath over the top of the door so that it hangs down in front.
