Installing Roof Rails On A Crv

Set the torque on your wrench to 7 lbs.

Secure the front and rear rail covers to the roof with the four torx nuts removed in step. Screw three of the bolts into the bolt holes on each side of the front roof rack using the 5 mm hex wrench that came with your roof rack.

Use a t 25 torx wrench to tighten the bolts. Install the front and rear rail covers to the roof on the left side of the vehicle. Be careful not to over tighten the bolts. Or if you don t have roof rails then this will do.

Here are the applicable models. Tighten the screws so that they are snug. Measure rearward from the windshield molding and mark the left roof molding as shown. If you have a 2017 2020 crv you can see it here.

Pull the rail covers outward and line up the rail covers with the roof molding.
